Putting a customised game on your web
site
Why licence a flash game for your web site?
There are a number of good reasons
to put an exciting, quality game on your web site.
Attracting customers to your web site:
think about this, if you get an email from a company that
says "visit our web site to play our free online 18
hole golf game." Would you click on it? It's a motivation
for users to visit your site.
Branding: users generally
spend between 5 and 20 minutes playing Artifact Interactive
games. That's a lot of time spent in the company of your
branding. We can integrate your branding into the game/s
in way that doesn't overwhelm the player. That's one of
the great things about sports games - players expect the
game to contain branding on signs and stadium walls - it
adds to the realism.
Positive association:
your giving your visitors something fun and free, how can
they not like your company/brand for doing that.
In what ways can a game be customised?
Simple customisation;
Changing the game interface: We have
a number of game interfaces that can be used. The colour
of the interface can be changed to match your corporate/marketing
colours.
Include branding within the game:
we can include your logo or branding within the game. The
example below shows Supreme Golf with a sample logo in the
top left corner and a branded sign integrated into the game
area.

Advanced customisation;
Change the course: in the game Supreme
Golf the golf course can be changed to replicate any real
world course. To do this we need the yardage and top view
of each hole you want included in the game.
Change the appearance of the golf
world: we can change the background images, the trees and
the ground to give the golf course a very different look
and feel. The examples below show two significant changes
to the look of the golf course.
High scores and data collection: we
can set up the game to save player's high scores. We can
also require players to provide data before playing the
game, such as their age, gender, email address etc which
you can then use for marketing purposes.
Changing the golfer: we can change
the golfers to represent different ethinic backgrounds or
just change the colour of their shirts.
Anything you can think of: well almost
anything. If you have an idea for a customisation that suits
your marketing needs it can probably be done.
How much does customisation of
games cost?
The cost depends on the amount of
work involved. Generally something like adding in a logo,
a loading image, or a sign can be done for only a minor
charge. Extensive customisation, like changing the layout
of the golf course to match a real world course, takes more
time and hence costs a little more. Let us know what you
want and we'll provide a quote.
Frequently asked questions:

in the golf game to US/Imperial measurements?

for this change.
